Galen Miller-Atkins is an archaeologist and writer. He received an MA in Anthropology from Washington State University and a Graduate Diploma in Medieval Language and Literature with a emphasis in Germanic Philology. He has published multiple academic articles and creative works. He is passionate about translation and medieval languages, finishing several translation projects on Old English, Old Saxon, and Old Norse. He is a frequent contributor to the Circle of the Seasons, a local literary magazine in Oregon. Currently he is focusing on late medieval legendary and family sagas and their poetic adaptations in long, epic poems known as rímur.
